Kara Voelker-Hatch

Vice President, Insurance Broker

Kara enjoys what she does! She has worked in Employee Benefits for over 20 years. She joined Teague in 2010 and became the Top Employee Benefits Insurance Producer within 6 years. Prior to working in insurance, Kara was a Benefits Administrator in Human Resources. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Association of Health Underwriters (SDAHU). Kara graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

Kara specializes in strategic partnerships with her clients to help each company achieve their goals in setting up competitive benefits programs while maintaining cost effectiveness. Kara surrounds herself with top professionals who are committed to each other and share best practices unselfishly. She attributes her success to her ability to embrace those practices and implement them consistently. When surveyed, her clients express deep gratitude for her knowledge, clear communication and consistency.

Kara moved to San Diego in 1997 after graduating college. Kara enjoys spending time with her husband, Chad and their 4 children, Trevor, Landon, Logan and Saige. Kara loves to go camping and off-roading in the desert and also enjoys experiencing everything Disney.
